Answer: If you notice a brown deposit (lime scale) in your heating tank, it is time to de-scale your appliance. Please note, lime is a natural mineral deposit that is non-toxic.
Question: How should I de-scale my appliances?
Answer: De-scaling your appliances (coffee makers, tea kettles, steam irons, humidifiers, and even dishwashers) regularly to remove mineral build-up is recommended to ensure long product life. Pour vinegar into the heating tank and put your Babycook through a heating cycle. Rinse thoroughly with regular water and repeat two heating cycles.
Question: Does the Babycook seal have to be regularly changed?
Answer: No. There is no need to change the seal if it is always properly cleaned (not suitable for dishwasher) and properly positioned.
